Hi everyone!
What about your weekend? I hope you are all fine. 
This week we are going to work on the World Environmental Day. 
Last Friday 5th we celebrated this special day all over the world. 

The Earth 🌍 is a spectacular place where we all live. The Earth is the only planet where life exists. As humans, we have a big responsability to our planet. We must ensure that we take extra special care of it. So, this week we'll learn some ways that we can take care of Earth and make our planet a better place to live.

1. Videos.
First of all, let's watch some videos about the importance of the World Environmental Day. Listen and enjoy.

2. Vocabulary.

As you can see, it is very important that we learn to protect our planet. 

Recently, due to the sad and difficult situaction of the pandemic caused by a virus, we have been aware of the need to take care of ourselves. 

But,what can we do for it? Let´s watch some examples and learn new vocabulary about how to save Earth. 

I have prepared a presentation for you. I hope you like it! 

Here you are the new words. Listen and repeat. Please, pay attention to the pronunciation of the new words. 

3. Activities.

What about if we try to practice about all the different ways in which we can save our planet? What the following video and complete the activities. 

There is an important rule for take care of our planet: "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle", that is, "the 3 R's rule".

And what can we do for help in this way? A lot of things! 
Here you are a worksheet about it (From where I teach). You have to classify the different activities in the correct box. You can print it or write it in your notebook.  

4. Final task.

Finally, I'll give you some suggestions for give a new use to our old things. Can you try it? How you can do it? Explain it and send me your photos!

How are you today? I hope you are all fine! This week, we will finish this unit. Let's review vocabulary and grammar and we'll learn some new things.

1. First step. Vocabulary and grammar.
You can watch the following presentation about trips and answer the questions in your notebook. 

2. Second step. Song.

What about if we learn singing a song? In this one, there are some missing words. Can you find them? Let's try!

3. Third step. Postcard.
Open your Pupil's Book at page 58. (Remember: you can use your digital book too). Look at activity 24. 

When you travel, you usually send postcards to your family and friends. They are small cards with a picture on one side. You can write a short message. 
Listen and read this postcard about the Sarah's holidays in Hawaii.

Ok! Next, you can look at activity 25 and answer the questions. 
And now it is your turn! Pay attention to the following activity and write about Claire's holidays in London.

 

 4. Fourth step. Final Task: a brochure

In this activity you have to create a brochure. A brochure is a paper that shows information of something, in this case, about a country. 
For example:

You have a template. You can print it, if you want, or you can make a new one as you like.

Choose a country and complete all the information. You can search in a web if you need it. Remember to be original and creative. 
Send your final task to Drive.

This week we will work on the new topic: trips

In this travel, we will do different activities that I hope you like. 

1. First step. Vocabulary.
Let´s start learning new vocabulary related to trips. It will be useful if you travel to other country. For example:

They are different funny actities you can enjoy in a theme park.

1. You are going to watch a short one-minute called MOVE which shows clips of 11 countries visited by Andrew Lees in 44 days. You should watch the film and try to name as many of the countries as possible. The clips are very fast, so it will be necessary to watch the film at least twice.

A. Imagine that you can travel to 11 countries in 44 days, which countries will you visit?
B. What will you do in each country?
C. Which countries have you visited?
D. What are they famous for?


2.You are going to watch the second film LEARN in which Andrew learns different things in each country. You should watch the film and spot which things he learns.

This week we are going to start a new unit. Unit 6: Trips

We are going to start learning the new vocabulary and working on a grammar: the future.

1. First step. Vocabulary. 
Open your Pupil's Book at page 52. Think: what places in town do you know? For example, cinema, circus, theatre, shops, shopping centre, chemist, newsagent... do you remember? 
In this unit, we are going to learn new words related to places in a city.
